Vexis was founded on a single conviction: the analytical rigour of top-tier consulting should not be gated by the overhead model of large firms. We serve mid-market companies with the complexity of their ambitions but the efficiency of their scale.

The Origin

Founded 2016.

Founded in Zurich by a collective of former McKinsey engagement managers and in-house Chief Operating Officers, Vexis was born from a frustration with the standard consultancy model. We saw talented mid-market leaders burdened by generic frameworks and junior teams detached from the client's reality.

Our founding team brought deep operational scars from scaling manufacturing supply chains and embedding technology stacks in heavy industry. We built Vexis to be the antidote to ambiguity.

We do not sell noise. We deliver structure.

Our partners are the ones in the room. We do not bait-and-switch clients into junior analyst projects. Every engagement is steered by a Principal or Partner with relevant operational experience.

Fixed Scope

No hourly billing. We define success upfront with fixed-price engagements. This aligns our incentives with your execution and removes the incentive to prolong work.

Global Network

Our headcount is deliberately small—eight partners in Europe and the Americas. However, our network extends globally to specialized experts in data science, manufacturing, and legal affairs when required.

Etymology

Vexis.

The name Vexis is derived from the Latin vexillum, the military standard carried by Roman legions. It represents the guiding principle of our practice: clarity amidst complexity. Just as the vexillum marked the direction of the army, Vexis provides the directional clarity and structural rigor required to navigate complex market environments.
